Neuroorthopedic approach to treating a patient with schwannoma and aggressive hemangioma at a single spinal motion segment: a case study

A clinical case of surgical treatment a female patient with dumbbell schwannoma growing from the T4 nerve root and aggressive hemangioma vertebral body arch is presented. The open kyphoplasty through posterior approach was performed followed by laminectomy, costotransversectomy at T4–T5 level on left, total microsurgical resection tumor right extrapleural approach, transpedicular fixation T3–T5 vertebrae. There were no postoperative complications. control computer tomography confirmed complete removal spine stability surgery.
